A car had flipped over in the middle of the road along Upper Cross Street on 30 April at about 10.30pm, and the driver of the vehicle was trapped under the wreckage as a result, according to Shin Min Daily News.
It is not known how the accident had happened, as the Chinese newspaper reported that the driver who was trapped under the car was a female.
A lorry that was ferrying several foreign workers stopped immediately after passing by the scene and alighted to help the trapped woman.
Along with other motorists and passers-by, the workers helped to push and overturn the flipped car and eventually managed to get the car back up and retrieve the trapped woman.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force confirmed that incident and they added that one person was assessed at the scene for minor injuries.
However, she declined conveyance to the hospital and was seen sitting by the side of the road using her phone, according to SMDN.
