A video previously emerged online showing a Singaporean man scolding a Malaysian woman after allegedly cutting her queue at the Causeway.
The wife of the driver has since come out with their side of the story, as well as video evidence to support her claims and debunk the allegations.
Here is what she said
Dear Admin
I am writing in response to the video that show a man shouting at the lady from another car. My husband is the person in the video.
I would like to clarify about what happened earlier. The lady was actually the one who cut the queue. We were all stuck in a traffic close to 2 hours at that point of time.
As you can then see from the video, the lady took the right most lane (meant for heavy vehicles) and drove straight to the front of the queue. My husband have inched the car closer to the car in front, not leaving any space for her to drive into.
She might have gone mad for this as after she managed to cut from the back, she drove in front of us to intimidate him further.
He thus drove beside her to give her his piece of mind. He had overreacted by scolding her because he was very angry by what she did at that point of time.
We did not cut her queue at any time which she falsely claim. She was the one playing the victim by saying that she had her way.
The video is as what it is, but she conveniently edit the part where she scolded us back. She was holding on to her handphone while driving to record him.
