Not only did he block vehicles, but he also engaged in confrontations, challenging passers-by to fight him.

The allegedly drunken man was seen in a video uploaded on the SGRV ADMIN Facebook page, standing defiantly, causing a nuisance by shouting incoherently at both cars and pedestrians.

The incident seemed to have taken place along Telok Kurau Road, close to Bright Centre, as evident from the surroundings shown in the video footage.

Concerned members of the public attempted to reason with him and urged him to move out of the way, but their efforts were in vain.

Amidst the chaos, a passer-by finally took action and intervened. He subdued the intoxicated man by restraining him in a stranglehold and dragging him across the road, away from the traffic.

The second part of the video showcased the man targeting vehicles. A yellow taxi, with its hazard lights flashing, found itself in the man’s line of aggression.

Without any apparent reason, he directed multiple kicks towards the taxi’s windscreen and side mirrors, causing damage.

Shortly after, he shifted his attention to a black sedan, displaying aggressive behavior. He leaned his body against the car’s windscreen and pointed menacingly at the driver.

In a disturbing display, he pounded the vehicle’s front bonnet forcefully with one hand, while clutching a yellow cup in the other.

As the man continued to cause havoc, a concerned passer-by approached him, attempting to reason with him and end the chaos.

However, instead of cooperating, the man in black gestured aggressively, indicating that he wanted a fight. He placed his cup on the car, clenched his fists, and began pumping them up and down in a confrontational stance.

Another passer-by, dressed in green, stepped in and directed the disoriented man away from the middle of the road, hoping to defuse the situation and prevent any further escalation of violence.

According to reports from Shin Min Daily News, the incident occurred around 7:50 am on Monday, 26th June. The 58-year-old man, believed to be under the influence of alcohol, emitted a strong odor of alcohol, leading to suspicions of intoxication.

Upon the arrival of the police officers at the scene, the man allegedly spat at one of the officers, further exacerbating the situation.

On Tuesday, 27th June, the man was taken into custody and subsequently charged in court. It was also revealed by Shin Min Daily that the man was on parole at the time of the incident, possibly contributing to the judge’s decision to deny him bail. The man is scheduled to appear in court again on 4th July.
