DRUNK MAN SEND CHAIR FLYING DOWN FROM THE THIRD FLOOR AFTER A HEATED ARGUMENT

According to a media release, a 33-year-old pub owner faces one count of endangering the lives of others after sending a chair flying down from the third floor of a shopping mall.

Apparently, the man was drunk when he got into a heated argument with his customer. Out of anger, the man kicked a chair which sends it flying down to the ground floor from the third floor which almost landed on 2 diners in Macdonald’s.

The incident happened on the 28 Sep 2019 at Parklane Shopping Mall around 1 am, the police were alerted by the mall’s security guard stating that a fight had occurred. Luckily, no one was injured in the incident.

According to the defence lawyer, the man was severely intoxicated and was affected by his emotions which cause him to act inappropriately. In the end, the man was fined $1,400 for his offence.
