DRUNK MAN SMASHED BEER BOTTLE ON HEAD OF ELDERLY MAN @ CHINATOWN

A fight between two men ended up with one of the men injured with a wound bleeding from his head.

The incident took place in Chinatown and it is believed that the people who are involved in the fight are drunk.

According to Shin Min Daily News, one of them smashed a bottle on the elderly man’s head and they used a chair to beat one another. After the beer bottle was smashed on the man’s head blood started to flow.

The incident took place on May 15 at around 5 PM.

The Police came soon after and arrested a 44-year-old man for suspected involvement in a case of voluntarily causing grievous hurt by dangerous weapons with common intention under Section 326 read with Section 34 of the Penal Code 1871.

The offence of voluntarily causing grievous hurt carries an imprisonment term of life imprisonment or imprisonment for a term which may extend to 15 years, and shall also be liable to a fine or caning.

The 60-year-old man was sent to the hospital.
