This year durian production had a very high yield. Durian merchants have lowered prices this week. The cheapest price is $10 per kilogram.
Some durian merchants even claimed that it was the lowest price in four years.
According to Zaobao, Durian sellers pointed out that due to climate change and the fact that the durians in Johor and Pahang were harvested at the same time, the production of durians this time is particularly large, so prices have been adjusted this week.
Mushan King Durian at $10 per piece
Dingfeng Durian Station which is located in Bukit Batok posted a Facebook post on December 1st stating that Mushang King (猫山王）is only $10 a piece.
