In 2017, our Active Mobility Enforcement Officers (#AMEOs) have conducted over 2400 enforcement operations, impounding Personal Mobility Devices (#PMDs) whose users were found to be riding on the roads.
In a recent enforcement blitz along Loyang Drive, AMEOs impounded 15 PMDs, bringing the total number of PMDs impounded for the year to over 480.
Riding your PMDs on the roads is illegal, and such reckless behaviour endangers both the rider and other road users. Our AMEOs will continue to conduct enforcement operations and take firm action against any rider found breaking the law.
