A netizen has recently uploaded footage taken from his vehicle’s dash cam on an incident where he witnessed while driving out of the carpark compound.
According to what was seen on his dashcam footage, an ebike rider was seen riding dangerously on the road as he had cut across dangerously.
His actions led to the driver of a red vehicle nearly colliding into him but luckily, the driver managed to brake his vehicle in time and sounded a horn to alert the ebike rider.
On hearing the blaring sound of the horn used on him, the ebike rider started to behave like a hooligan and confronted the driver.
He rode his bike to the driver’s seat, gestured to the driver, smacked the vehicle with his hands and opened up the car door and made threatening gestures to the driver who was apparently an uncle.
Met the driver
The netizen then tried to get the driver’s attention and finally met up with him when the driver stopped at his relative’s house.
According to the netizen, the uncle was visibly affected by the confrontation with the ebike rider and tears were seen forming up at the corner of his eyes.
The uncle also mentioned that something had dropped during the confrontation and when the netizen went back to the scene to check it out, he found the license plate belonging to the ebike rider and snapped a picture of it.
Footage of the incident was also passed to the uncle and his relative by the netizen who witnessed the incident.

“I hardly post up such things but this deserve some justice, uncle (in red car) horn at the e bike for cutting across dangerously, but this young man reacted violently, just watch the video.
Summary, the young man opened the car door and threaten to beat the uncle up. After the incident, I tried to get uncle’s attention, ended up we met up when he finally stop at his relative’s house, he was visibly very shaken, and tears were forming in his eyes, told uncle that I had the footage and will assist him, passed uncle and his relative the footage, and uncle mentioned something dropped, guess what? It’s the license plate of the ebike.
Went back to collect it and snap a photo of it.
As an athlete and educator, one thing I can’t stand is cases like this, esp towards the elderly. And we have been teaching others to be an upstander, should the situation escalated further, I would no doubt step in to assist.”
