CAIRO: An EgyptAir flight on the way from Alexandria to Cairo was commandeered Tuesday (Mar 29) and redirected to Cyprus, the aircraft affirmed.
Residential flight MS181 arrived at Larnaca Airport, as per Cyprus’ state telecaster, with Cypriot authorities saying there was a suspected bomb on load up.
Neighborhood media reported one man on the plane was equipped.
The Boeing 737-800 was conveying 55 travelers and seven group, an Egyptian air terminal authority said. There were prior reports of around 80 to 81 individuals on board.
Cypriot police said the criminals made no prompt requests after it arrived at Larnaca air terminal on the island’s south drift. The airplane terminal was along these lines shut.
