A Facebook user, Tiffany Ng, shared in a post detailing how her 61-year-old uncle walked into a salon trying to get a simple haircut but was charged $1,771 for 13 sessions of haircut, scalp treatments and colouring.
Here is her post:
Another classic case of Salon selling “packages” to unsuspecting elderly.
My 61-Year-old uncle walked into this salon with the intention of just getting a simple haircut and dyeing his hair. but instead, he was charged a whopping total of $1,771 for 13 SESSIONS of haircut, scalp treatment, and colour.
That’s not all, the hairdresser even told him that he could use his CDC voucher to offset the “package” which he did (a $95 CDC Voucher was used) but the hairdresser claimed that she didn’t receive it.
Went down to confront the Hairdresser and told her that we just want to refund the package and we don’t mind paying for whatever services she did today $180++. However the hairdresser was very rude, she insulted us and even told us to sue her instead.
A police report has already been made. Anyone with any information as to how we can get back our refund or where we can file for claims?
