A van was seen exiting the carpark and the gantry barrier was lifted for the vehicle to pass through.
The elderly man was seen trying to cycle out of the carpark just as the gantry barrier descended.
Fell off bicycle
The barrier then hit the elderly man in the face and resulted in the old man falling off his bicycle.
He was seen in the video falling backwards off his bike and appearing to have hit the back of his head when landing on the ground.
