Here is the story:

“Yesterday, 28th December 12:30pm when I brought my mother who was 80 years of age with both weak limb, sitting on wheelchair to Causeway Point for lunch , we experienced a extremely bad experience.

The staff at the entrance of the mall stop my mother from entering even after we showed proof of my mom vaccinated status, she said “Malaysian” cannot enter to the shopping mall, this is a regulation from MOH!!!! (when did such rules announced?????)

At the same time ,i called in to the MOH for verification ,the staff of MOH told me that is no such a regulation Malaysian cannot enter to shopping mall since my mum enter to singapore via VTL less than one month as long as she had vaccinnated!!

After a heated confrontation with the staff after nicely telling her of my mother’s hunger & showed her the necessary proof of entry ,  she still told us Malaysian cannot enter to the shopping mall!!!😪😪😪

For the past 2 weeks, we have bring her to others mall for meals as well, we did not encounter such discrimination

We felt that this action is seriously unacceptable. It’s this is outright nationality Discrimination! Is it because my mother is a Malaysian that’s why not allow to enter ? We have provided the necessary needed information for entry as mentioned above but yet still was not allow!

We felt disgusted &disappointed with such a rules set by Causeway Point & not nation safe entry guideline.”
