According to the Land Transport Authority (LTA), Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) charges of the three gantries located along the Central Expressway (CTE) is set to increase by $1 starting next week.

The announcement of the increment comes after the LTA’s third review on the ERP rates following its suspension during the circuit breaker. The increment of the charges is based on LTA’s observation of the traffic situation at a certain part of CTE during a certain period of time.
As more people are resuming work at the office, there is an increase in traffic during peak hour which led to congestion. LTA will further monitor the situation closely.
