A video emerged online showing what appears to be an orange/brown Toyota hatchback driving inside a bus lane.
The Toyota was then seen beating a red light, with the other vehicles nearby stopping while the errant driver just breezed past the red light signal.
The incident happened earlier today (24 January) at about 8.38am, during the Normal Bus Lane hours.

It is against the law for most vehicles to drive in the bus lanes during its operating hours (for normal bus lanes, the operating hours are 7.30am to 930am and 5pm to 8pm from Mondays to Fridays).
Motorists are also required to give priority to buses when they are nearing the bus priority box.

Beating red light
It is an offence to beat a red light in Singapore.
Drivers found guilty of failing to conform to traffic light signals face a composition fine of $400 for light vehicles and $500 for heavy vehicles.
They also face 12 demerit points and if a driver accumulates 24 or more demerit points within 24 months, their license will be suspended.
