According to a media release, an Indonesian maid was arrested for her suspected involvement in animal cruelty.
The incident happened on the 13 May 2020 around 9 am at a private property located at Sunrise Walk. On the day of the incident, the maid allegedly threw a pet poodle down from 3 storey high.
After her cruel action, the maid rushes to her employer and told them that the pet poodle was found motionless in the front yard. The poor dog was found with blood coming out from its mouth.
The owner immediately rushed their beloved pet to a vet. The pet poodle has suffered from severe internal injuries and was suggested to be put to sleep. Unwilling to see their beloved pet suffer, the owner had no choice but to take up the vet suggestion.
A few days after the incident, the police were alerted after the employer had a fight with the maid over taking care of their children. While investigating, the police found evidence of the maid throwing the dog down from the third storey of the property.
The police then arrested the maid on the scene.
