FairPrice will keep 133 of their stores opened on day one of the Chinese Lunar New Year this year which falls on 1st February 2022.
This is four stores more than what was opened during the first day of Chinese New Year last year when 129 stores were kept opened for shoppers to continue their shopping activities.
Out of the 133 stores, 40 will operate for 24 hours, 91 will close at 5pm and the ones at Jewel and Balmoral Plaza will close at 11pm and 10pm respectively.
33 stores will operate for 24 hours on Chinese New Year eve for essential shopping needs.
117 stores will operate till 5pm on the eve, excluding FairPrice on wheels which will cease at 2pm.
All the stores will then resume for business on Chinese New Year Day 2.
Deliveries will continue
FairPrice Online will also continue delivering items over the festive period from 8am to 6pm on 31 Jan to 2 Feb.
On Feb 3, normal operations will resume.
