Malaysia – A man is suspected of creating a fake accident in order to scam the driver by running towards the car and getting hit on purpose.
The incident happened on April 7 in Klang, Selangor. The police have received a report from the driver of the car and are now looking for the injured man to assist in the investigation.
The 45-second video of the incident has been circulated on social media.
According to Assistant Director Vijaya, the head of the North Kiang Police District, at 12:08 noon last Thursday (7th), the driver was passing by Wu Fufa Road in a car. , A strange man in the middle of the road dash out on the road and jumps sideway towards his car, then “jumped” and smashed his mirror.
Dashcam is important
After the incident, the victim told the man that there was a dashcam in his car, and the latter, who was slightly injured, immediately left the scene after learning about it.
After receiving a report from the victim, the police failed to find the man at the Kiang General Hospital and local clinics. So far, no witnesses have appeared to assist in the investigation of the case.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the nearby police station to provide information for the investigation of the case and the identification of the man involved.
