Just venting to the void about money problems, like everyone else.
My kid hates me, or so it feels anyways. She had a birthday party to go to today and I had fully planned on her going but woke up today and surprise… refrigerator doesn’t work.
We are a paycheck to paycheck family like many people here and also like many people here we have 0 in savings.
So, now I’ve got a crying kid because she was looking forward to arcade party but we can’t afford it or a gift for her friend.
I’m just sad and frustrated and stressed. She knows it’s not my fault and she doesn’t blame me but she is still so sad and it makes me feel like shit not being able to afford something as simple as a kids birthday party.
And I don’t even have time to really try to console her because now I’ve got food going bad in a broken fridge that I need to replace ASAP and HAVE YOU SEEN FRIDGE PRICES? Holy schmoly the stress is real today.
Sorry for the ramble, just need to vent. On a side note how long will meat stay good for in a cooler full of ice?
