Famous Veteran Hong Kong Actor, Benz Hui, was spotted recently working at a cafe known as Juju at Wheelock Place, Orchard.
Juju was opened by Hui’s daughter.
He was also interviewed by a Hong Kong Youtuber, Ms Karman, and the video was uploaded to Youtube on 10 March 2022.
Three restaurants in Singapore
Hui’s daughter, who is 25 years of age, has opened a total of three cafes in Singapore including Juju.
They are:
- Café Bakeaholic (1st Branch) – The Springside Condominium, Yishun
- Café Bakeaholic (2nd Branch) – Wheelock Place, Orchard
- Juju – Wheelock Place, Orchard.
Many do not know but Hui is a Singaporean Permanent Resident.
Approached Youtuber
In the video, Hui was seen approaching Ms Karman when he spotted her filming her dining experience and he asked her if she was a Hongkonger.
They were conversing in Cantonese throughout the video.
He was asked to recommend some food to her and he introduced the curried fishballs and egg luncheon meat noodles.
He added that the cafe uses instant noodles from Hong Kong and thus it tastes different from the once available locally in Singapore.
The video also introduced some items from the menu which are classic Hong Kong Cha Chaan Teng.
