It is a painful thing for parents to see their child’s safety is jeopardized. Mr Eric Tan the father of the 8-year-old girl involved in a traffic accident last month knows exactly what it felt like.
Following the news of the passing of the 15-year-old boy involved in another traffic accident in Queensway, Mr Eric Tan decides to donate part of the donations received for her daughter to the boy’s family.
The donations Mr Eric received was raised by the members of the public to help him with the cost of the hospital bill. On 04 Nov 2020, Mr Eric announced that he would deactivate his paynow account to stop donations funds from coming in. His decision comes after the news of her daughter waking up from a 12 days coma.
Mr Eric also said that his daughter was much more fortunate than the teenager. She is not only alive but also received help from many kind-hearted Singaporeans. Hence, he would like to spread the goodwill and donate part of the funds he received to the boy’s family.
