FIRE BROKE OUT IN A CONDOMINIUM TOILET, 300 RESIDENTS EVACUATED

According to a media release, a fire has broke out at a basement toilet of Glentree Condominium. The incident happened on 20 Sep 2020 at around 9 pm.

The SCDF was alerted at 9.20 pm, two fire engines and one ambulance were spotted on the scene. In the process, 300 residents were evacuated from the building. The fire was later extinguished by the SCDF using fire reel.

No injuries were reported from the incident and investigations are ongoing in regards to the root cause of the fire.
