A luxury superyacht caught fire at Sentosa Cove on Sunday morning (7 June), sending thick black smoke billowing into the sky and drawing the attention of nearby residents and visitors.
The incident took place at ONE°15 Marina, one of Singapore’s most exclusive waterfront destinations. Videos and photographs circulating online showed flames engulfing parts of the vessel while dark smoke rose high above the marina.
The yacht involved was reportedly the Eagle Wings III, a 112-foot luxury superyacht commonly used for private charters, corporate functions and special events.
Thick Smoke Visible From Distance
Eyewitnesses shared images on social media showing the vessel burning while berthed at the marina. The plume of smoke could reportedly be seen from various locations around Sentosa and the southern coastline.
Several marina users gathered at a safe distance to observe the incident as emergency responders attended to the scene.
Photos captured during the fire showed flames concentrated around the upper sections of the yacht while smoke continued pouring from the vessel.
