A woman 47 years old Malaysian staying in Singapore Block 102 Aljunied Crescent was the first local transmitted zika virus patient.
She was working here and had not travelled to country that was affected by zika virus.
She was admitted at Tan Tock Seng hospital and was tested positive today(27 August 2016).
Residents staying around Aljunied area please be extra careful, if there is symptoms such as fever, skin rashes, body aches, and headache please consult a doctor immediately.
