Facebook user RX Cau shared how he had his iPhone 13 Pro Max stolen by a Foodpanda rider while he was cleaning up his shop.
The incident purportedly took place on Sunday (30 April) at about 10.30 pm along Paya Lebar at 12 Haig Road, and it was captured on the shop’s CCTV.
Cau said in his Facebook post that at about 10pm that night, he was cleaning up the shop and left his phone on the table.
He said that his phone was not very far away from him and that he didn’t expect that him putting his phone there for a while would end up getting stolen.
He added that a police report has already been lodged, as he appealed to members of the public to reach out to him if they recognise or spot the delivery rider in the CCTV footage.
He also addressed the delivery rider in his Facebook post, telling him to return his phone or he will pursue the matter further, highlighting how the rider’s face has been captured in the CCTV video.
He also emphasized on the importance of the phone to him.
