
A disgruntled Foodpanda customer shared her horrendous experience with the delivery platform on Facebook.
Karyn Tan wrote that she ordered drinks, which amounted to $34.39 via Foodpanda for her and her guests.
The app after a while, stated that her order was delivered, so she went to her door to check; that was when she was a huge mess at her doorstep.
The delivery person has apparently spilled the drinks at her doorstep and got it all over the footwear of her guests.
The drinks were nowhere to be seen, so Tan followed the trail of stains and was led to her half spilled drinks 2 flights of staircase down.
The delivery person left it there.
She lamented how the delivery person did not even bother to inform her or apologise for the mess.
So, she contacted Foodpanda Help Center to report the matter and they promied to return her call within 15 minutes and have the redelivery delivered within 45 mninutes.
But an hour soon passed and she received neither a call or a redelivery.
She then contacted Foodpanda again and they told her that they can’t do a full refund of her $34.19 because she used a $30 voucher that she bought on Shopback.
After a long period of reasoning, Foodpanda thusly offered her a $30 code but it came with a minimum spending of $35, they also gave her a $4 voucher to her Foodpanda wallet.
She then complained about how she had to clean the entire corridor and apologise to her angry neighbour, before she resolved to delete the Foodpanda app and never patronise them again.
She appealed to others to use Grabfood instead.
