For committing vandalism in Bugis area a 43-year-old man was arrested!

On 28/4/2017, the police said they received several reports on Monday of graffiti being scrawled on the facades of National Design Centre, Fu Lu Shou Complex, The Prospex, OG Albert and Bugis+ Shopping Centre.

The suspect was arrested along Hougang Ave 8 on Thursday, with the aid of CCTV images upon investigation.

A marker pen, a bicycle and some clothing were seized.

The man will be charged on Saturday with the offence of vandalism. If convicted, he faces up to a $2,000 fine or three years in jail, and between three strokes and eight strokes of caning.
