One “superpower” that Singaporeans have without knowing is our adtability of eating all sorts of food as we have a diverse culture, but this is something many foreigners are not able to do.
A man shared a story about how his foreign GF is unable to eat local food and describe our Singaporean cuisine as “disgusting”
Here is the story:
I just got a foreign GF, I no need to tell you guys what country you also can guess lah.
So my gf ah, die die have to get all the ingredients from Golden Mile to cook at home or eat there or da bao from there.
I asked her why she does not want to try out local delicacy and she said that most of the food is “disgusting”.
So I started to do an experiment and here is the list of local food she accepted and rejected

One thing good about we local people, we can accept a wide variety of food. Hope this relationship last, NOT. I am a food lover, I don’t want everyday eat Pak Ka Pao and Som Tum leh.
