According to a FB post on FB page Itsrainingraincoats, a 32-year-old foreign worker with a brain tumour is hoping to raise S$50,000 for his treatment. The man has been working in Singapore for 5 years. Due to the position of his tumour, only 40% of the tumour was removed through surgery. The remaining 60% of the tumour needs to be removed via chemotherapy treatment which cost $50,000.

“An appeal for a young migrant worker with a brain tumour🙏🏼
This young man is Rasu Ravi, a migrant worker aged 32 who has worked in Singapore for the last 5 years. He now has a brain tumour. Only 40% of the tumour could be removed without severely impacting other body functions. He has to go through chemotherapy for a period of time and then return home ultimately when his condition stabilises.
His employer came to us last week seeking our help. It broke our hearts to hear of Ravi’s story. He must have come to Singapore with so many dreams and we can’t imagine what he must be going through now. We have stayed in touch with the employer and assisted him to set up this appeal on Give Asia. All details in the link below.
Once Ravi is discharged, he won’t be able to work here anymore. He has to return home and pay for his ongoing treatment and also look after his aged parents.
Please help Ravi and also help us share this post and spread the word. Most importantly, please include Ravi in your prayers. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🌷”
Currently, 574 people had contributed and S$36,997 has been raised. Anyone who will like to help can go to https://give.asia/campaign/cancer-migrant-worker-rasu-ravi#/ to make a donation.
