According to a FB post posted by FB user Alex Chua, an Indian national foreign worker has tattooed Singapore’s Iconic Lion Head on the back of his neck after going back to his home country while on home leave.

He had worked in Singapore for the past 4 years as a grass cutter, he has helped us to maintain the greenery of the city.

According to the post, the foreign worker Vinoth, 29 said that the reason for him to decide to have the tattoo is that he loves Singapore. Singapore is clean and safe, people around him take cares of him as well.

In his post:

“Vinoth, 29, India

Vinoth has worked in Singapore for the last 4 years as a grass cutter. Just last year when he was back in India on his home leave, he decided to get a tattoo of the iconic Lion Head symbol.

“I love Singapore. It is clean, safe and people take care of me. That was why I wanted to tattoo this Singapore Lion Head on me.”

When I searched the National Heritage Board site, it stated – “Any individual, organisation or company can use the Lion Head symbol for purposes of identifying with the nation.”

Thank you for keeping our greenery neat and green. Singapore got your back!”

In my opinion, we Singaporeans should thank Vinoth as well for his hard work to help Singapore become a garden city.
