Singaporean youth are some of the worst in the world.

yes, you heard that right. I’m an international student over here in Singapore, and I can confirm that Singaporean youth/students are some of the most annoying, deluded, and insufferable youth in the world.

They only focus on studying, one upping each other, are defensive and weird about their selves, and are addicted on social media all the time.

They are also some of the worst to collaborate in group projects, not communicating at all, and then blaming each other when s- hits the fan.

1. I agrée tbh. The academic system forces sg kids into becoming robotic and over stressed, vs other countries where the kids have more time to play and relax. The worst part is that for all that studying, the long term economic prospects are no better for sg kids than the others
2. Good point. TBH right we are notorious for being so academically harsh yet when we enter the workforce our prospects are still the same as other first-world countries. So actually what’s the point of suffering through childhood? All the pressure and stress amounts to nothing.

Singapore is definitely a first world country, but mentality here is yet to be evolved.
5. I concur. They are probably one of the most immature adults I have seen in my life. Entitled and narrow focused refusing to grow up.
