A former teacher in Germany, Stefan R, was found guilty on 7 January of murdering a man and cutting up his body to realise his cannibalistic fantasies.
The man was sentenced to life in prison, with the judge describing the man’s cannibalistic murder as “inhuman” and that in 30 years as a judge, “nothing like this has come across my desk before”.
What happened?
Stefan had made contact with the victim via a dating app and lured him into his home, before being sedated with drugs.
The victim’s throat was then slit and his private parts were then cut off and eaten by Stefan, and the corpse was then cut into pieces before being scattered across the Pankow district; in Berlin, Germany.
The murder was discovered in November 2020 after human bones were found in a neighbourhood park, with the remains being identified as a 43-year-old man who was missing, Berliner Stefan T.
Investigators managed to find out the murderer’s address through the victim’s phone records, and they found traces of blood, more remains, and some work tools that were suspicious at the killer’s home.
