Just recently on 3 February 2021, a netizen has shared on social media regarding the bread that she bought from BreadTalk from the Tai Seng outlet.
A dead lizard was found in a box of bread that the netizen bought from BreadTalk. In her post regarding this, she had shown some disgust and anger in the post after looking at the lizard in the box.
The first two pieces of bread were eaten by her brother and mother without noticing the dead reptile inside. It was only when the next two buns were taken out where she discovered it.
She had then contacted BreadTalk customer service and told them about the incident. But was disappointed in them after realizing that they worried more about the post ruining their reputation than about settling what their customer encounter.
BreadTalk has conducted an investigation regarding this matter and has hired a third-party pest control company to do checks on the outlet.
