Singapore President-elect Tharman Shanmugaratnam, who used the pineapple as his campaign symbol, clinched a landslide victory in the recent election.
The pineapple, often seen as a symbol of prosperity and welcome, clearly resonated with the hearts of many Singaporeans, contributing to his impressive win, where he garnered 70.4% of the votes.

The Pineapple Dress Code
