Friends keep suggesting to BTO together although I’m attached?!
I’m a Female in my early twenties, and I’m attached for the past 3 years now. It’s made known among our friends that we are keen to apply for a BTO if a good location arises.
Somehow, some of my male friends would message me and say, if things don’t work out with my partner, they would want to BTO with me. LOL. A friend even said he can help me join his current company if I BTO with him
I can’t tell if it’s a compliment or an insult. Makes me think am I their backup plan, or do they think they are comfortable with me or I’m just simply too unattractive that a BTO arrangement would work platonically?
What do guys usually think when they say such things?

they only see u as a means to a transaction. things always get ugly when money is involved. dont waste your future, money in case they bail out, and your first timer grants. SG is a good place to live if you dont make stupid decisions.

- I think a lot of us are trained since young here, that the 5Cs la n must buy house la, u r already in a 3 Yr relationship, u buy a house with some1 u are ready to marry n go ahead in life with cos its a long term commitment both house n relationship.
