A Singaporean, Richard Ang, went to Facebook to voice out on his displease of a group of FT who gathered outside a restaurant called Sahara at Boat Quay on Sunday, 31 May. Close to 5 individuals can be seen talking and drinking without their masks. They seemed to be watching football as well.

In his post he stated that the men were drinking and chit chatting with out wear masks. He walked past them to Funan to get dinner at 7:50pm and returned at 8:55pm when he was on the way home. The group would have gathered there for more than an hour in accordance to Richard’s observation. He did make a report at 7:53pm on the Oneservice App, but to no avail. He then called the police.

Many can be seen exploiting the “exercise rule”, where individuals who exercise do not have to wear a mask. But wearing a sports kit and wearing sports shoes most definitely does not count as exercising.
