An FT Indian recently posted on Facebook asking for advice whether he should accept a job offer to work in Singapore for $5,000. He stated on how the company will apply for an employment pass for him as well.

A fellow FT Indian then commented then a $5,000 a month salary is too low and the cost of living in Singapore is too high. Medical, housing, and transport are also extremely expensive.
He then stated that he should not take the risk for such a low salary whether the job offer is permanent or contract base.
