Two other charges were considered for her sentencing.

She had apparently gotten into a dispute with a taxi driver over the taxi fare and pushed him into the bushes nearby, before scratching and kicking police officers who were called to the scene.

What happened?

On 2 February 2019, Guy boarded Mr Simon Tan’s taxi towards City Square Residences at 2 Kitchener Link at about 5.15am.

Tan then wanted to collect his taxi fare from her, with the latter claiming that she had already paid for the fare via the Grab app with her credit card.

The two then got into a dispute, with the woman then pushing Tan into some bushes nearby.

Tan then called the police and followed Guy, who was walking away – she was later stopped by police officers and placed under arrest, before being escorted back to the drop-off point where she was dropped off.

Guy then used her right thumb’s nail to scratch one of the police officers who was holding on to her, and the officer then moved his hand away in pain – he was later found to have a scratch mark that measured 2cm.

Guy was then escorted by another police officer into a police car that had arrived, and she then kicked the police officer’s leg.
