A woman ordered a king size bed but the bed was unable to fit into the elevator, the seller did not put in much responsibility and tell the girl to settle it herself and dumps the bed on the ground floor.
Here is the story:
I ordered a king size bed frame loft from miyamiko.com after looking through their website and their many pictures of king loft beds in high-rise buildings, during the day of delivery the delivery worker called and said something big incoming
I ask the seller but the seller says it will come within the week. When the delivery team came up they say that can’t fit in the lift and either we send it back to their warehouse or get someone to bring it up. So I contacted miyamiko and they said that they do not provide carry stairs delivery. I then asked for a refund or change to a smaller bed size like a queen, miyamiko said can’t do either.
I contacted CASE and the case told me that because they state that the seller did state no carry stairs and this is regarding refund, they cannot help and if we want. We have to file to the state court small claims. Or find a logistic company that will carry it up the stairs. I asked miyamiko if they have any company or recommendations for people that will carry it. And they said don’t have I have to find like foreign worker near my house or movers company.
They also say i have to pay for warehouse fee and resending fee.
what should i do
