Bellagraph Nova Group, a Singapore-registered company which are close to completing the purchase of English football club Newcastle United admitted to doctoring photos of form US president Barak Obama in marketing materials which were used to publicize the newly formed group.
Nereides Antonio Giamundo de Bourbon, head of investor relations, admitted that the company altered photos of Obama. The company has removed the pictures from its website.
BN Group said on its website that it is a French company whose address was at 10 Place Vendome, an exclusive square home to the Ritz Paris hotel and luxury stores such as Chanel and Louis Vuitton. But there were no record of any company registered in France called Bellagraph Nova Group on the online database of the Registries of the Commercial Courts, the French state agency that holds company information.
