A video emerged online showing a taxi driver and a passenger having a dispute inside the former’s vehicle over the route taken and the fare.
In the beginning of the video, the two were seen arguing, with the passenger asking the driver to make a turn but the driver replied that there was only one way for him to go.
The driver then stopped his car ahead, and the man then asked him to reverse his vehicle and enter the “road” that he wanted.
The driver told him that he can’t reverse because the road that they were on was presumably a one-way road, and the man then told the driver to stop the car there.
Upset with the driver, the man said: “Walan eh, just now can make a turn but you don’t want to turn, knn. You drunk I not drunk leh.”
The man then gave the driver a few dollar notes, which was lesser than the fare, and the driver then held up the money to show the man.
The man asked the driver how much was the fare, and the driver told him it was $11, to which the man then argued that the driver made a wrong turn, “I still need to pay ah?”
The driver then asked the man, “so you don’t want to pay?” which the man then affirmed twice.
The driver then told the man that he was going to call the police, and the man then challenged him to do so, “call lah!”
The man then alighted from the taxi and the driver then told him not to run away, and the man then went back into the taxi and shouted “EH LIMPEH SI SALAKAU EH LAH! (translation: eh limpeh is from the 369 gang!)”
The taxi driver then went to the back of his taxi and scolded the man for vomiting inside his cab, as they continued their argument outside the taxi.
The man then told the driver that he would pay the money if the taxi driver reverses his car into the road that he wanted him to turn into earlier, “LE GOSTAN WA HENG LE! AI GOSTAN MAI? CCB!”
