GATHERING IN PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SPACES IS NOW PROHIBITED

Any social gatherings of any size of participants in both private and public spaces are now prohibited, this comes after the new bill getting passed in parliament yesterday.

This will effect immediately and these are some of that will be affected

  • Parties at home
  • Gathering with friends and families not living together
  • public spaces such as void decks
  • beach
  • parks.

These will be a temporary measure in the current coronavirus situation in Singapore.

First-time offenders

Fine of up to S$10,000 and/or imprisonment of up to six months

For second-time offenders

Fine of up to S$20,000 and or imprisonment of up to 12 months
