I got charged $100 for data roaming even though my data roaming was turned off when I went to Malaysia. I got an alert asking me to subscribe to a plan, and the moment I received that alert, I turned airplane mode on. I did not use any data at all.
Your customer service officer explained that turning off data roaming on the phone is insufficient and that I would have to turn off data roaming on the network level via your app.
This is not something that a normal customer would know. Kindly look into this issue and resolve it as soon as possible. I should not be paying for anything when it is not reasonable to expect me to have known that, and I had already taken immediate action to prevent any data usage. Thanks.

Damn, and you thought you off the roaming charges!!
I have been travelling for the past 10 years and have been using SingTel and this is the 1st time I have been charged for this roaming charges!
Something is wrong somewhere SingTel, maybe is time for me to switch….
