Ever since the country went into remission during the recent circuit breaker from the Covid-19 pandemic, Getai veteran host Wang Lei has been making a living selling seafood online.

Wang Lei has garnered quite a sizeable following on his Facebook page, by making inappropriate jokes “insulting” people in his live videos.
In an interview with Sure Boh Singapore (SBS), he said: “The more I scolded them, the more they want to come and watch.”
in another interview with 8 World, Wang revealed that he is earning “two to three times more from one hour of selling seafood online than he does for a getai show”.
