According to the media release, 2 men were spotted selling cough syrup illegally at Geylang Lor 25.
According to some residents, the 2 men had been around in the area for more than a year. They were seen running their illegal business daily from 3 pm onwards. The 2 men will take turns to keep a lookout for the law enforcers.
Their customer comes from different backgrounds, some were seen driving continental cars. The 2 men will not stay at one spot for long, they will change their selling spot constantly throughout the day. These cough syrup cost $30 per bottle, some of the customers were seen drinking it on the spot after their purchase.
At times, they were being spotted dealing near a supermarket. The seller’s illegal behaviour had brought concern from the nearby residents as there are young children around and their irresponsible act might influence the young ones in future.
