A Singaporean guy has recently complained on how his girlfriend threatened him that if he did not listen to her, she will create a story on how he hit her and report it to the police. That was when he realised that the law always side the female.

Does the law always side the female? Does this not make us males very vulnerable to false accusations?I am the sort of guy who has been lifting weights at the gym four times a week for the past seven years.
During my last verbal fight with my girlfriend, she threatened me and said if I don’t listen to her, she will go to the police and make up a story of how I hit her and get me into trouble with the law for domestic violence. I told her that’s ridiculous because not only have I never ever raised my hand at her, in anger, she has hit me so many times that I have bruises on my body and a few times, she has even drawn blood. She just laughed at me and said you are a big guy, I am a small girl, they will believe me for sure. At that point in time, it sounded so lame that I didn’t think much of it.
Later on though after thinking about it, I think there might be some truth in what she said and it got me really worried and afraid. I know the reality thus it sounds lame to me. But a third party who doesn’t know the truth might believe in her lies. I can’t believe that just because I am big and strong, a girl has the power to tarnish my innocence when in reality, she is the one who has been abusing me.
