I was devastated. Not just because of the loss of my mother’s gold ring, but also because of what she did. She had betrayed my trust and taken advantage of my love for her. I had always looked up to her, but now I felt betrayed.
I tried to talk to her about it, but she refused to acknowledge her wrongdoings. I eventually decided to let it go and move on with my life.

She eventually apologized for stealing the ring, but it was too late. The damage was done and I was still hurt and angry. I blocked her and told her if she harass me again I am going to the police.
