I really need to vent because my head is actually exploding. You guys won’t believe the level of siao (crazy) behavior I encountered recently. Just when you think people respect basic boundaries, someone comes along and proves that common sense is not common at all.
So I have this “friend” from our usual clubbing group. Everyone knows I have a girlfriend, okay? It’s not a secret. My social media is full of us, I talk about her, and this girl definitely knows the deal. But some people, I swear, they see a “Taken” sign and they take it as a personal tiao zhan (challenge).
Last weekend we were out at the club, just trying to have a good time, right? Suddenly, this girl starts getting super touchy-feely. Like, hugging me out of nowhere and not letting go. I was already feeling damn awkward, trying to pivot away politely because I don’t want to make a scene in front of the whole group. But then, she goes full psycho mode.
She literally gave me a love bite. On purpose!
I’m not even kidding. It wasn’t an accident or a “heat of the moment” thing; it was a calculated move. It’s like she wanted to mark her territory or “declare war” on my girlfriend. The level of disrespect is actually insane. You know my girlfriend is your friend also, right? How can someone be so thick-skinned? It’s like she’s trying to stir shit just for the sake of drama.
Now I have to go home and explain this nonsense. Even if I’m 100% innocent, the stress of having to manage that kind of fallout because someone else decided to be a homewrecker is just… sian (tiring).
Anyway, shift today started okay, at least. Was driving and managed to catch some good fares with short distances, so the “money-to-effort” ratio was quite high. Thought it was going to be a peaceful day until I remembered the drama waiting for me.
Seriously ah, Singapore girls… some are literal angels, but some? Truly next level siao. Why can’t people just enjoy the music and the drinks without trying to destroy people’s relationships? End of rant. Going to go buy some medicated cream to hide this mark before I get slaughtered. Stay safe out there, brothers. Beware of the snakes in the grass (or the club).
