Here is the story:
To start this my boyfriend (29m) and I (25F) have been seeing each other for about half a year and I have met his dad (50m) a handful amount of times…
Well, every time I come over his dad and I usually hug to say hello or goodbye, it’s just something friendly to do…
but today during our hug he kissed my neck, my hair was in the way so he mostly kissed that. We pulled away and that was that, nothing else said or exchanged. (My boyfriend said hi and had to run to the car to grab something so he wasn’t there when his father and I said hello)
My boyfriend is a very protective and territorial type of person, and I know it wouldn’t fly if anybody else would have done this.
So, do I tell him that his dad did this? How would I approach the topic? I feel slightly uncomfortable about it and I just don’t know if it’s a normal thing he does, because he hasn’t done it before.

Update: I sat my boyfriend down and told him, I told him I felt weird about it and thought I should tell him. We talked about it probably being an accident because his dad is a little shorter than me.
He also reassured me that no one is off-limits when it comes to me, and that includes his family. (Meaning if someone tries anything he’ll do something) That he also stated that if he needs to talk to his dad about it he will.
