TikTok user @studywithbritney shared her disturbing experience during an NUS orientation camp a few years ago.
She said that she was blindfolded by her seniors, who then told 3 other guys to hold her hands and talk to her.
She was told that they had to hold hands for the entire conversation and that she is not allowed to take her hands away.
At the end, she was told to later pick the guy that she liked the most based on the “overall feeling”.
Here is what she said
My seniors blindfolded me. Told 3 boys that I don’t know, to hold both my hands and talk to me. And we had to hold hands for the entire conversation.
I am not allowed to take my hands away.
At the end, my sejn98iors told me to pick the boys I liked most, just based on the overall feeling. Is it me or do I feel like this is a bit weird.
Not that I wanted to participate, because they blindfolded me and said “we will bring you to a secret place to do a secret activity.”
I could hear them laughing in the background so i guess it was enjoyable for them.
Yeap, especially when on of the boys was enjoying himself touching my hand and then feeling it.
I conformed because of peer pressure and i was afraid to stand up for myself, I was too young and scared to report. I thought I was just overreacting.
Had to bury it all these years but it never fails to pop up when uni orientation month is here every year, kept this to myself for the longest time. Took me years before I decided to let it out.
