I’ve been with my boyfriend for a few months now, and things have been going really well… until recently.
We had been out for dinner at a restaurant/pub and while we were there, we heard a beautiful voice coming from one of the waiters working there.
I couldn’t believe it – the guy was singing a song which requires high pitch voice, and he was amazing.
I couldn’t take my eyes off him, and I could feel myself blushing.
My boyfriend noticed my reaction and asked me what was wrong. I told him that I was just really impressed by the singer’s voice.
He seemed to accept my explanation and we went back to our dinner. But I could tell that he was a bit off the rest of the evening.
The next day he asked me if I wanted to go back to the pub to hear the singer again. I agreed, thinking it would be a nice evening out.
But when we arrived, my boyfriend seemed to be in a strange mood. He kept glancing over at the singer and then looking away quickly. It was then that I realized something was up.
When we got back home, my boyfriend told me that he had seen me looking at the singer and he was jealous.
He told me that he was worried that I was interested in the singer and he asked me to make a decision – him or the singer.
I was taken aback by his request and I didn’t know what to say. I told him that I liked him, but I couldn’t make that kind of decision. I asked him to give me some time to think about it.
He agreed, but I could tell he was still upset. I spent the next few days thinking about my relationship and what I wanted.
In the end, I decided that I couldn’t stay with my boyfriend if he was going to be so jealous and possessive.
So, I broke up with him. It was hard, but I knew it was the right thing to do. I still feel a bit guilty about it, but I’m sure I made the right decision.
I wish him the best and hope he finds someone who makes him happy.
As for the singer, well, I eventually got his number and then kept going back to the pub to hear him sing and slowly got to know him.
We ended up dating and now we’re going on strong for a few months already.
